24th Undergraduate Ecology Research Symposium

This morning, three undergraduate students from the Fall 2012 Tropical Ecology class participated in the 24th Ecology Research Symposium. The students (Sarah, Brant, and Shreyas) presented on a variety of topics including: The effectiveness of leaf mimics in deterring Heliconian Butterflies, Decomposition rates of the Acnistus arborescens, Evaluating macroinvertebrate biodiversity levels in landscaped areas, and Examining macroinvertebrate community composition of epiphytic bromeliads. A number of students from other programs attended the presentation to learn about ecology on the Costa Rica campus.
