Lincoln School visits UGA Costa Rica for Fit4Earth program

Last week, UGA Costa Rica was pleased to host Lincoln School on campus for the third Fit4Earth biodiversity program. Close to 100 9th grade students came to campus. The students participated in a variety of classes led by UGA CR staff and volunteers including Biodiversity, Water Quality, Weather, Insects, Plant Adaptations, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). They also participated in a service learning activity in which they helped to build biodigestors at local farms in the San Luis community.
